Responsible Gastronomy Awards 2023
Best responsible initiative
On 22 September 2023 we received the award for best responsible initiative, at the Terra i Gust fair. The awards are run by Slow Food Barcelona.
The jury said we set out to bring people good, sustainable food, chosen for being organic, local and seasonal and for cutting down on packaging. They also praised our drive to scale up and change how people shop: a hybrid model that combines the logistical efficiency of the big chains with the control and trust of a consumer co-op.
They added that we’re a very different kind of supermarket: a meeting place for the neighbourhood, where every member has a say in the decisions.
