How we make decisions
- The assembly
- It has the final say. One member, one vote, however much capital you’ve put in. It approves the accounts, the product criteria and the strategic decisions.
- The circles
- Ten working circles prepare the work and carry it out: Community and care, Premises, Operations, Buying, Finance, IT, Governance, Communication, Co-operation and Shop.
- Day to day
- A paid team runs the shop, with the help of members’ shifts.
Where the money goes
| Not for profit | No profit is shared out among individuals. Whatever is left over goes back into the project. |

| One margin rule | The same rule for everything, 22%, except the essentials range at 17%. No loss leaders, no bait offers. |
| The share capital belongs to the members | The €40 you put in is yours, and we give it back if you leave. |
| Public support | The project had support from Barcelona City Council and the Diputació (the provincial council) while it was starting up. |
